Banpu Continues to Support Thailand on COVID-19 Confrontation, Giving 100,000 Cloth Masks to the Handicapped
Recently, Banpu Public Company Limited, under the “Mitr Phol-Banpu Solidarity to Aid Thailand on COVID-19 Confrontation Endowment”, delivered 100,000 high-quality cloth masks to the Association of the Physically Handicapped of Thailand and Thailand Association of the Blind as the Company considers the handicapped as another group of people whose lives have been affected from the COVID-19 pandemic which is still going on. The associations will distribute the cloth masks to such target groups in various areas in the country to help reduce risks of infection and support safe living.
This provision of medical equipment is one of the proactive actions under the “Mitr Phol-Banpu Solidarity to Aid Thailand on COVID-19 Confrontation Endowment”, worth THB 500 million in total, half of which is endowed by Banpu. The endowment, which has continued since March 2020, aims to support the work of public health agencies and relieve the economic impacts on the underprivileged and vulnerable people nationwide.
