Banpu and Mahidol University join hands to organize the 9th Power Green Camp Inspiration for youth to save environment with “Envi-Science, learning through action”
Banpu Public Company Limited by Mrs. Udomlux Olarn, Head of Corporate Affairs (front row, 5th from left) and Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University by Assistant Professor Dr.PiyakarnTeartisup, Power Green Camp Director and Committee Member (front row, 4th from left) opened the 9th Power Green Camp, the environment-science camp that encourages youth to learn how to solve environmental problems in the form of learning through action,in this year’s theme of ‘How To Prepare and HandleGeohazards for Thai Youth’.
During the camp’s activities between 12-19 October 2014, 70 students (Grade 11)majoring in science from across the country are here to learn intensively about theories and participate in extra-curricular activities, such as understanding of geographic nature, mechanisms and indicators prior to geohazards,disasters coping and preparations,field trip, and group projects development for presentation to the project committees and general public.
