Banpu Organizes “Learning Process for Thinking Development” Workshop for Teachers of Granted Schools in Northern Provinces
Lampang – Banpu Public Company Limited organized the workshop titled “Learning Process for Thinking Development” for 145 teachers of six granted schools in three Northern provinces at Bunyawat Witthayalai School, Lampang Province during December 12-13, 2008. Lectured by educational experts from School of Educational Studies of Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, the workshop was aimed to enhance teachers’ knowledge and understanding on thinking, analyzing and synthesizing process as well as to develop their capability to manage the classroom focusing on development of student’s thinking method.
The “Learning Process for Thinking Development” workshop is part of “Banpu ICT Development for Education” project which has been implemented at its six granted schools in the north for five consecutive years. More than THB 10 million was granted to schools for enhancement of their educational equipment and tools especially ICT equipment as well as for capability building of teachers and students. Schools under the “Banpu ICT Development for Education” project include Maethapattanasuksa School, Maethawittaya School and Sobprabpittayakom School in Lampang Province, Wiangjedee Wittaya School in Lamphun Province, Chiengmuan Wittayakhom School and Ban Sra School in Phayao Province.
