Banpu Arranges Entrepreneurial Workshop to Promote Independent Career Development for Northern Student
19 – 20 December 2011: Lampang – Banpu Public Company Limited arranged a workshop on entrepreneurial skills and small business planning for secondary and high school students from three schools in the North, namely Maethawittaya School and Maethapattanasuksa School in Lampang as well as Ban Puangkham School in Lamphun. The workshop was an activity under the Independent Career Development for Youth Project, aiming at developing children’s skills and enabling them to make a living in their own community in the future. During the workshop, honorary lecturers from several northern chambers of commerce including Mr. Patana Sitthisombat, Chairman of the Committee for the Economic Quadrangle (10 chambers of commerce in northern Thailand), Chairman of Lampang Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chairman of Chiangrai and Lamphun actively gave the kids valuable lectures and advices during the whole session.
The Independent Career Development for Youth Project is part of “Banpu Education for Sustainability Program”. It is organized by Banpu and the National Council for Child and Youth Development.
