Attention New Graduates! Banpu Recruits Through “Banpu New Graduates Program 2021: Boost your Energy with Us” Program Response to Future Trend by Growing Your Career Path with Banpu
Banpu Public Company Limited, an international versatile energy provider, supported the Thai government’s Co-Payment scheme to hire new graduates. New grads of 2019 and 2020 were invited to enter the program “Banpu New Graduates Program 2021: Boost Your Energy with Us”. The program reflects Banpu’s commitment through its continuous efforts to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the program, Banpu is supporting the government efforts to create job opportunities, build career for new graduates and drive the economy forward while strengthening communities as well as the society. This is especially beneficial to new graduates gearing towards a career in the energy business as well as related businesses since the demand for the workforce in the industry will align with the global energy trends of the future.
Mrs. Somruedee Chaimongkol, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited, said “The COVID-19 situation continues to have economic and social impacts on Thai people. Banpu is committed to providing our continuous support to various sectors. So far, we have supported the medical and public health organizations across the country through our “Mitr Phol-Banpu Solidarity to Aid Thailand on COVID-19 Confrontation Endowment”. Reinforcing our commitment to human resource development, the “Banpu New Graduates Program 2021: Boost Your Energy with Us” program is created to extend our help to people who have been affected by the pandemic, especially new graduates who have been facing unemployment due to the decrease in the demand for new workforce. Banpu is responding to the government’s scheme with the program. Through its Co-Payment scheme, the government will support 50% of the salary or up to THB 7,500 per person for new graduate with a bachelor’s degree while Banpu takes care of the rest. Banpu is equipped to nurture their professional skills and experiences to allow them to grow a strong career and eventually become the driving force for growth of our country.”
Under this new employment promotion program, Banpu Public Company Limited is offering the opportunity for new graduates with no work experience, aged not more than 25, and just graduated in 2019 or 2020 in the field of electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mining engineering, electronic and telecommunication engineering, computer engineering, computer science, business administration and accounting.
Graduates who pass the preliminary examination will be contacted by Banpu to take an online exam and interview. Once qualified, they will be working with Banpu as a contracted employee for one year starting from January 1 – December 31, 2021. In addition to strengthening their knowledge in energy business, new graduates will also gain life skills as well as effective work skills. They will also learn more about “Banpu Heart” culture, which will allow them to learn to develop a lifelong potential from international organization like Banpu. As the Company transforms itself to stay ahead of the “Never Normal” world by building on the agility and new digital platforms to enhance its potential, this makes Banpu the perfect learning context for the young generation.
