Lets join the Youth of “The Power Green Camp 5” to discover “Biodiversity Creating a Livable World” this coming October
Mahidol University’s Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies and Banpu Public Company Limited invite teenagers and the public to join a fun-filled event for a greener earth. The event includes an exhibition of environmental science projects under the theme “Biodiversity Creating a Livable World” presented by 70 members of the “Power Green Camp 5” on 23 October 2010, 13.30-16.30 pm at the Cultural Exhibition Field, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom province.
“The Power Green Camp 5” event showcases “Biodiversity” through various ideas from the Power Green campers who are expressing their new perspectives on biodiversity to public. Participants can cast their votes for the most impressive presentation as well as experience many different kinds of plants and animals at Salaya Campus, while enjoying live music and participating in various activities to protect the earth.

“The Power Green Camp” is an environmental-science camp initiated in 2006 by Mahidol University’s Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies with support from Banpu Public Company Limited. The camp aims to provide Thai youth with knowledge about environmental science and natural resources, allowing youth to learn how to systematically solve environmental problem through theories and practical activities. This will finally lead to the sustainable environment conservation in a long run.
This year, “The Power Green Camp 5” will take place during 18-24 October 2010 at the Faculty of
Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom province under
the theme “Biodiversity Creating a Livable World”. 70 campers who are the 11th grade students, majoring in science nationwide will participate in this camp.
