Banpu Table Tennis Club (BTTC) sent its six players aged under 15 years old to participate in the 2nd International Youth Sports Challenge held by Singapore Sports School, Singapore, during 1-7 December 2009. Many table tennis teams across Asia participated in this tournament namely China, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Qatar and Thailand.
