Banpu Supports Negative Room Pressure and Personal Protective Equipment Worth THB 4 Million to Provincial Hospital in Chachoengsao
28 May 2021 – Banpu Public Company Limited, led by Mrs. Somruedee Chaimongkol, Chief Executive Officer (Middle), handed over negative pressure ward and 5 EKG monitors (Heart rate detecting equipment) at the total amount of THB 2 million to Mr. Maitree Traitilanan, Chachoengsao Governor (Middle) for the outbreak control operations of Buddhasothorn Hospital, the provincial hospital of Chachoengsao. Besides, the Company also donated for building a negative pressure room and delivering of N-95 masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) worth THB 2 million to Phanomsarakham Hospital, Chachoengsao. This is to support the mission and reduce infection risks of medical personnel, who conduct the case finding in that area and caretaking works for infected patients in the current wave of the COVID-19 outbreak.
This provision of medical equipment is one of the proactive actions under the “Mitr Phol-Banpu Solidarity to Aid Thailand on COVID-19 Confrontation Endowment”, worth THB 500 million in total, half of which is endowed by Banpu. The endowment, which has continued since March 2020, aims to support the work of public health agencies and relieve the economic impacts on the underpriviledged and vulnerable people nationwide.

About “Mitr Phol-Banpu Solidarity to Aid Thailand on COVID-19 Confrontation Endowment”
Mitr Phol Group and Banpu Public Company Limited jointly established the “Mitr Phol-Banpu Solidarity to Aid Thailand on COVID-19 Confrontation Endowment” in March 2020. With a total budget of THB 500 million raised from the two companies for THB 250 million each, the endowment aims to provide important medical and public health equipment to prevent and control the COVID-19 situation for hospitals and public health agencies across the country. The endowment also aims to relieve the economic impacts on the vulnerable people across the country.
