Banpu Group grants over USD 1 million to support Japan for rehabilitation of earthquake and Tsunami victims
Recently, Banpu Group including Banpu Public Company Limited in Thailand and its overseas subsidiaries, namely, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITM) in Indonesia and Centennial Coal in Australia, together with their employees donated a fund approximately USD 1.004 million (1 million and 4 thousand US dollars) to Japan in order to help rehabilitate Japanese people who have been affected by the earthquake and Tsunami. The financial grant was given to the Japan Red Cross through the Japan Embassy in Thailand and by way of depositing into a nominated bank account.
