Since 2009, Banpu has continuously distributed scholarships to fourth-year students in various fields of study including geology, geotechnology, mineral resources, mining engineering, electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, accounting and information technology with an aim to produce more skilled workforce of these professions in the country. The total contribution provided through this scholarship program was approximately THB 11.5 million.
