Youths from “The Power Green Camp 2” Showcase their Environmental Science Projects for Sustainable Environment Following HM. the Kings Initiative
Bangkok – Sixty-seven of “The Power Green Camp 2” youths from schools nationwide recently displayed their environmental science projects under the topic of “Applying Science Following His Majesty the King’s Footsteps for Sustainable Environment,” at Santi Chaiprakarn Park, Phra Arthit Road. The exhibition, presided over by Bangkok Governor Mr. Apirak Kosayothin, was aimed to increase public awareness about natural resources and environmental conservation following HM. the King’s environmental conservation concepts including the integration of sufficient economy philosophy for sustainable environment conservation. Additionally, the event’s objective was also to celebrate HM the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary.
“The Environmental Science Project Exhibition” held at Santi Chaiprakarn Park is part of activities in “The Power Green Camp 2,” which was co-organized by the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, and Banpu Public Company Limited during October 15-21, 2007.
