Banpu Wins “Low Carbon and Sustainable Business” Award from Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization
Banpu Public Company Limited led by Mr. Chatpol Uttamanond, Senior Vice President – Health, Safety, Environment and Community Engagement, (left), received the Low Carbon and Sustainable Business Award – Rising Star Level” presented by Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO, (right), at the closing ceremony of the announcement of 2022 Low Carbon and Sustainable Business Assessment and Rating Program organized by TGO at Pullman King Power Bangkok.
This award is given to organizations that demonstrate low-carbon and sustainable business practices, reflecting Banpu’s commiment to conduct businesses aligning with ESG principles including environmental, social, and governance aspects. As an international versatile energy provider, Banpu aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its operations in all business units. The Company also focuses on increasing the greener business portfolio and implements advanced digital technology across the organization.
