Banpu Public Company Limited, a leading versatile energy provider, participated in the recent “Sustrends 2025” event at Benjakitti Forest Park by deploying the e-PromptMove, a mobile solar power generation and storage system, to supply approximately 78 kilowatt-hours of electricity for the event. Additionally, MuvMi electric tuk-tuks were used to provide convenient transportation for attendees from the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center MRT station to the venue.
Mr. Sinon Vongkusolkit, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited, stated, “We are delighted to contribute to reducing carbon emissions at Sustrends 2025. This effort marks the second consecutive year we have supported the event with our energy technologies. At Banpu, we believe that fostering a low-carbon society requires collaboration across all sectors. In our part, we focus on promoting decarbonization within our own business, such as by expanding our portfolio in renewable energy, Battery and Energy Storage System Solutions (BESS), e-Mobility, and smart cities & energy management.”
In addition to providing the e-PromptMove and MuvMi electric tuk-tuks, Banpu also hosted an exhibition showcasing its sustainability initiatives or ESG. The Company invited social enterprises from its “Banpu Champions for Change (BC4C)” project to share their insights on social enterprise operation including the teacher community platform InsKru and the AI-powered personal assistant application Saen-D.
Organized by The Cloud, Sustrends 2025 brought together experts and thought leaders to present 45 sustainability trends transforming the world across 15 sectors. The event received support from Banpu and around other 20 sustainability-focused organizations from the public, private, and civil sectors who are committed to advancing sustainability efforts in Thailand.
