Banpu Joins Panel on Anti-Corruption and Strengthening Governance in Thai Businesses Operating Domestically and Internationally
Recently, Dr. Kirana Limpaphayom, Chief Operating Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited
(2nd from left), was invited by the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to join a panel discussion on “Anti-Corruption and Strengthening Governance in Thai Businesses Operating Domestically and Internationally.” The session was hosted by the Bureau of International Affairs and Corruption Investigation at the Nonthaburi 2 Conference Room, NACC Office, and was presided over by Mr. Sornchai Choowichean, Deputy Secretary-General of the NACC (center).
Dr. Kirana shared Banpu’s practices in implementing its Anti-Corruption Policy, which aligns with the Company’s Corporate Governance Policy and Business Code of Conduct. He also emphasized the importance of establishing strong internal controls and maintaining robust, effective financial and accounting reporting systems. In addition, he highlighted the promotion of “Adherence to Integrity and Ethics” as a key behavior of Banpu’s corporate culture that all executives and employees are expected to uphold. These practices are designed to build stakeholder trust and support sustainable business operations.
