Banpu Joins “Going Green in the Region” Panel Discussion to Promote Sustainable Business Collaboration within ACMECS Countries
Recently, Dr. Kirana Limpaphayom, Chief Operating Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited (far left), was invited to join the panel discussion on “Going Green in the Region,” organized by the Thailand Management Association (TMA) at Crystal Hall, The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok. The session aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration between the public and private sectors to drive sustainable, environmentally friendly business and promote sustainable growth among member countries of the Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS).
Dr. Kirana shared Banpu’s vision as a key private-sector contributor to the energy transition in the region and highlighted the Company’s experience operating across multiple countries with diverse environmental policies and regulations. He also emphasized the importance of regional collaboration in addressing the challenges posed by international environmental measures such as carbon taxes, and in collectively raising the standards for sustainable production.
