The “ITM Do by Heart” brand has been adopted by PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITM) – a subsidiary of BANPU in Indonesia and ITM coal mines in Kalimantan – as a basis for the implementation of their community development activities.
‘ITM for Education’ is ITM’s main corporate-level CSR program, focusing on education and learning for children and young people. The program was initiated in 2008 under the theme “Spreading Knowledge, Achieving Dreams”. The three sub-programs: ‘Mining for Children’, ‘Smart Teaching’ and ‘Volunteer Action’ specifically targeted school children, teachers and educational volunteers.
