Banpu was ranked as Companies with Excellence Corporate Governance Scoring among the top twenty-two listed companies from the 2008 corporate governance of Thai listed companies survey result. Hosted by National CG Committee, The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) and The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), the survey was conducted among 448 listed companies by considering from 5 major criteria namely; Shareholders rights, Equitable treatment of the shareholders, Roles of stakeholders, Disclosure and transparency and Board responsibilities.

Banpu was ranked as one of the three listed companies with “excellence” investor relations which was considered from listed companies in SET50 and one of the ten listed companies with “excellence” in CSR. The awards were given by SET and Money & Banking Magazine.
